Verdict: A powerful and lightweight rechargeable rear light that’s great for evening riding, at a fair price.

The rear light of the ELOPS FL 920 set is a versatile and efficient USB-rechargeable LED designed to enhance visibility and safety during night riding.

It offers three modes to suit different conditions: Power Mode, which emits 25 lumens at 50 lux for 2 hours and 20 minutes of battery life; Eco Mode, providing 13 lumens at 35 lux for up to 4.5 hours; and Flash Mode, which maintains 25 lumens at 50 lux in a flashing pattern for 5 hours and 20 minutes.

It mounts to the seatpost using a supplied bracket, we decided it would be to reinforce it with a small zip tie to make sure it didn’t come off when riding off road.

Compact and lightweight, it is easy to mount and remove, making it practical for everyday use. The USB-rechargeable battery fully charges in around 2 hours, offering a convenient and reliable solution for regular commuters and bikepacking expeditions.
