Verdict: A great pair of off-road / hiking shoes that can be worn around town without looking like an oddball!

After a great experience with Adidas’ freehiker high top boots, we opted to test the freehiker low top trainers and had a similarly great experience!

These shoes strike a great balance between being comfy, working well, and looking cool - making them an excellent choice for other millennials who value both performance and design.

The Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2.0 boasts a modern styling that blends seamlessly into both urban and natural settings. With a variety of cool colours to choose from, you might find it hard to pick just one favourite like we did!

Whether you're embarking on a quick day out or a multi-day exped on the trails, these shoes ensure every step is comfortable. The Boost midsole – taken from their running trainers - delivers great cushioning, making long walks feel less demanding on your feet. The breathable upper keeps your feet cool and dry, but not waterproof (take a look at the Goretex versions for that).

Despite their lightweight feel, these shoes don’t compromise on stability. They combine the agility of a trail runner with the robustness of a hiking boot. The EVA frame stabilizes your stride, even on rocky and rugged trails, providing the confidence to tackle any terrain.

In line with their growing commitment to sustainability, these hiking shoes are made with a blend of recycled and renewable materials, which is great to see in the 21st century.

Adventurers often struggle with sizing, but these shoes stay true to size. A UK 12 feels exactly like a UK 12, ensuring that what you order is what you get.

For those who love being outside and care about their environmental footprint, the Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2.0 Low Hiking Shoes are a great pick for those that like to walk everywhere. They offer a stylish yet practical solution that doesn’t skimp on comfort or performance.
