Verdict: While originally designed with golfers in mind, the MW500 Sleeveless Down Jacket is affordable and versatile enough for a range of adventures!

The Inesis (a Decathlon brand) MW500 Sleeveless Down Jacket is a well-designed midlayer that combines warmth, mobility, and practicality, making it an excellent choice for adventures when the weather gets chilly.

The jacket features natural down and feather insulation, providing good thermal regulation while remaining lightweight. It layers easily over or under other garments (as you can see from the pictures), offering versatility for varying weather conditions. A stand-up collar adds extra protection against the wind, while the sleeveless construction minimises bulk for greater flexibility. Practical features include multiple zippered and some internal pockets, which provide secure storage for essentials making it a convenient companion on the golf course or during outdoor adventures.

The lightweight and packable nature of the MW500 makes it easy to carry in a backpack or on bikepacking expeds, ensuring it’s always on hand when temperatures drop. Crafted with durable outer material and a water-repellent coating, the jacket offers reliable protection against the elements, including light rain or dew. It is also easy to clean and care for, enhancing its longevity and practicality.
