The Bell Super 2 MIPS is an aggressive enduro mountain biking helmet that is built to take a detachable chin guard for riders seeking extra safety.

 

Along with a removeable GoPro mount on the top, the Super 2 offers good head coverage along with an impressive visor that can be adjusted in relation to keeping the sun out of your eyes, complemented by the ability to buy the chin protector separately for extra safety,

 

Along with the bright colour (which we love!) the helmet includes the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) protection system which incorporates a specialised low-friction layer positioned between the outer shell of the helmet and the head. This strategic design aims to mitigate the rotational forces exerted on the brain during an angled or low speed impact that can still lead to brain injuries.

The Super 2 implements an updated version of Bell's TAG rear retention system, that offers good retention without getting in the way. Weighing over 400 grams, the Super 2 MIPS stands as quite a heavy half-shell helmet when compared to other models, however this does also inspire confidence that it won’t break anytime soon.

 

Ultimately, the Super 2 caters to riders favouring aggressive mountain biking, especially those seeking increased coverage.
