In all the guides I’d read and many trips to super cool Noblessnor quarter, I finally got an opportunity to visit the Proto innovation museum, a highly interactive innovation museum that is a great place to take your family or friends.

Centred around virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR respectively) , it features incredibly immersive experiences that really capture your imagination as an adult - such as a deep sea exploration vehicle (much like a submarine) where you can explore rich undersea worlds, a hot air balloon that you steer using your balance and focus, and futuristic race cars, amongst many other fascinating experiences!

Hands on experience aren’t neglected either, with a sound catcher to talk to your friends many metres away, light photography experiences (that email you the pictures afterwards), and much more to keep people of all ages entertained.

There’s also a café that serves wonderful drinks and snacks, so it really is a great place to bring the family if you’re in Tallinn.
