Verdict: A really well-made sleeping bag that’ll keep you comfy when it gets really quite chilly!

The Rab Ignition 3 XL sleeping bag is a high-quality, synthetic sleeping bag designed for use in mild and chilly weather conditions that packs down nice and small, so I can fit it into a backpack for travel, camping, or bikepacking trips It is an updated version of the popular Ignition series from Rab, with several improvements and upgrades to enhance its performance.

One of the standout features of the Rab Ignition 3 XL sleeping bag is its construction. It features a synthetic fill that is designed to provide excellent warmth and insulation, even in damp or wet conditions. The fill is also highly compressible, which makes it easy to pack down and transport in the compression sack that comes with (which itself is super useful if you tend to overpack like I do!).

The sleeping bag has a temperature rating of Comfort rating of 2°C, Limit of comfort rating of-3.5°C, and extreme rating of -20°C which makes it suitable for use in cold weather conditions. It also has a roomy XL size, which provides plenty of space for larger individuals or those who like to move around while they sleep.

Other features of the Rab Ignition 3 XL sleeping bag include a hooded design that helps to keep your head and face warm, a full-length zip with an anti-snag guard to prevent catching, and an internal stash pocket for storing small items like your phone, head torch, eye mask, or ear plugs if in a group!

The Rab Ignition 3 XL sleeping bag is a high-quality, well-designed sleeping bag that is ideal for use in mild to chilly weather conditions. Its synthetic fill, roomy size, and other features make it a great choice for backpackers, campers, and other outdoor enthusiasts who need a warm and reliable sleeping bag for their adventures.
