Verdict: At £5 for extra comfort, this super cheap accessory can make an uncomfortable night into something far more restful!

For longer adventures, I’ll often take an inflatable pillow to make it a much better experience. I first experienced the benefit when I rowed across the Atlantic and have never looked back since.

Quecha’s inflatable pillow is a relatively lightweight addition to your exped gear to avoid those uncomfortable nights when a stuff sack of gear just won’t cut it. It’s a simple yet robust inflation method – just pull out the valve, inflate, and enjoy.

Available from Decathlon, this is a great addition to base camp, bikepacking trips, trekking, and remote travel.
