Verdict: A beautiful jacket, that’s well made, but it’s not a cheap!

When I decided I’d do more adventure motorcycling, I knew I’d need a good waterproof jacket for the hours I’d want to put in the saddle.

The Belstaff Trialmaster Pro Wax Jacket is a high-quality jacket designed for riders who want the retro vibe look, yet also a combination of style and protection. It's an updated version of the classic Belstaff Trialmaster jacket, which was originally designed in 1948 and has become an iconic piece of motorcycle apparel – I just hope I have the right level of ‘cool’ to carry it off on my beaten-up Yam Tenere 660!

The Trialmaster Pro Wax Jacket is made from a waxed cotton outer layer and a waterproof and breathable waterproof membrane. Although I rarely wear it, the jacket features a belted waist and a four-pocket design with snap closures, providing both style and functionality. The collar has a corduroy lining for comfort and warmth, and the sleeves are adjustable with snap closures to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

The jacket also includes CE-approved removable soft protectors in the shoulders and elbows (as you can see in the photos), offering added protection in case of an accident. The jacket is also compatible with the Belstaff Challenger Insert, which is a waterproof and windproof liner that can be added for additional protection from the elements.

The size is true to measurement (i.e., I usually wear XL t-shirts, and the XL jacket fits me well also) Belstaff jacket is a stylish and durable option for motorcycle riders who want both style and protection. It combines a classic design with modern materials and features, making it a popular choice among motorcyclists who value both fashion and functionality.
