Are you planning to climb Mont Blanc, row across an ocean, or want to make yourself a better outdoorsperson / survivalist in general? Definitely check this useful little book out then.

It’s a super handy guide on how to tie over 30 knots with step-by-step images of each part of the process so you can master the important ones used in all adventures, such as the stopper knot, bowline, figure of eight, and the clove hitch.

The small reference books also helpfully breaks down the knots into different categories, from stopper knots, alpine butterfly, fixed loop, hitches, bends, and some decorative ones for making gifts.

Comes in a useful size of 8 centimetres x 11 centimetres, making it around the same size as an average mobile phone, meaning you can take it to basecamp, or on the boat without too many problems.

Highly recommended for anyone needing to improve their knots in places where you wont’t always have mobile phone access!
