Verdict: A well-built and bright light that’s powerful for it’s size!

The FL920 bike light by Decathlon’s ELOPS is designed for both visual efficiency and versatility, making it effective for use in bike-borne adventures.

It features a maximum brightness of 40 lux and 300 lumens, providing a nice wide beam that lights up the trail and ensures visibility at a fast pace.

This allows you to see clearly in front of youu, lighting up the road, the verge, or the kerb, providing advance warning of any obstacles. The light's brightness is powerful enough to be used during the day, offering safety for both day and night rides, especially since 75% of accidents occur during daylight hours.

The light has a battery life that ranges between 2 hours 20 minutes and 11 hours, depending on the mode selected. There are three modes available to suit different needs: Full-Power mode offers 40 lux and 300 lumens for up to 3 hours; Eco mode provides 15 lux and 140 lumens for up to 5 hours; and Flash mode, which also operates at 40 lux and 300 lumens, extends battery life up to 11 hours. This versatility makes the light suitable for both daily commutes and athletic road biking.

The battery requires a full charge time of 3½ hours. It is important to charge the light regularly, even when not in use, to maintain battery health. Additionally, the battery life may be shorter in cold temperatures, so users should be mindful of this when planning their rides.
