Roaming around the Estonian Film museum in Tallinn

A great trip for digital nomads that work in creative industries is the the highly interactive Estonian Film Museum, a museum dedicated to the history of Estonian cinema. Located in Tallinn, the museum was founded in 2006 and is currently situated, near to the Estonian History Museum (Eesti Ajaloomuuseum) in the historic Maarjamäe Castle.

 

The Estonian Film Museum is a rich, engaging experience, and features a variety of exhibits and interactive displays that showcase the history of Estonian cinema. Visitors can explore the museum's various galleries that show the different stages of making a film, which include exhibits on film production, special effects, sound design, and costume design. The museum also features a screening room where visitors can watch Estonian films, as well as see chroma keying (aka ‘green screen’) in action.

 

In addition to its great exhibits, the Estonian Film Museum also hosts a variety of events and educational programs throughout the year. These programs include film screenings, lectures, and workshops on various aspects of film production.
