The Bruce Lee statue in Hong Kong’s Avenue of Stars is a tribute to the legendary martial artist, actor, and cultural icon who remains a symbol of strength, perseverance, and creativity.

Located along Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui, this bronze statue depicts Lee in a dynamic martial arts pose, capturing the essence of his energy and charisma.

Unveiled in 2005, the statue stands approximately 2.5 metres tall and was created by sculptor Cao Chong-en. It was commissioned by the Bruce Lee Club, a fan organisation, and supported by the Hong Kong government to honour Lee’s enduring legacy and his significant contributions to Hong Kong cinema and global martial arts culture. The statue is a centrepiece of the Avenue of Stars, a promenade modelled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrating the achievements of Hong Kong’s film industry.

The setting of the statue, overlooking the picturesque Victoria Harbour, enhances its appeal. At night, the promenade offers stunning views of the city’s skyline, adding to the experience of visiting the site. The statue and its surroundings underwent a major renovation when the Avenue of Stars was revamped and reopened in 2019, ensuring the landmark remains a fitting tribute to Lee’s enduring impact.
