The structure is built from reinforced concrete, aluminium, and glass, with a striking golden exterior inspired by Dubai's history of gold trading. Designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, the Frame's modern and minimalist design ensures it stands out. Its location is carefully chosen by visitors looking north see the older parts of Dubai, like Deira and the Dubai Creek, while looking south offers views of the contemporary skyline, including the Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Dubai Frame is more than a viewing platform; it’s an immersive journey through time. Visitors start their experience in a museum at the base, where multimedia exhibits tell the story of Dubai’s transformation from a modest fishing village to a global metropolis. Next, elevators whisk visitors to the top, where the 93-meter-long sky bridge provides panoramic views. The observation deck features a glass floor that reveals the ground below, creating an exhilarating experience. The descent concludes with a glimpse into Dubai’s ambitious future, showcasing futuristic displays that imagine what the city might look like in 50 years.

Opened in 2018, the Dubai Frame has quickly become a favourite attraction, drawing millions of visitors. It perfectly embodies Dubai’s blend of innovation and tradition, making it an essential stop for tourists and residents alike. Beyond its cultural significance, the Frame also supports Dubai’s strategy of promoting sustainable tourism by offering a unique and memorable experience.
